Pray for Juan's Journey!

As many of you already know, we were able to raise the funds to pay for Juan Churion airfare from Venezuela to the conference.

Just as we completed the fundraiser this past Friday, we learned the news that Venezuela had cut off diplomatic ties with the US. We first learned this from Juan, when we phoned him to give him the great news. Then I Googled "Venezuela ambassador" and up came a news report posted Friday, 9-12-08, explaining the circumstances. REGISTRATION OPENS for Christian Coaching Tele-Summit May 1, 2

I am really excited to announce that registration opened on March 17th for our first major event of the year - the 2008 Christian Coaching Tele-Summit.

What is a telesummit? It is a huge, top-level conference call, where you get to hear presentations by the best coaches and Master level trainers in the industry. What's so great is that you don't need to travel anywhere to get all this must-know information. You will receive a workbook and session itinerary, so you can call in from your office or home phone. Just call from wherever you are... Make sure you have a quiet place so you can take notes and focus. The program promises to be life-transforming. We are even offering a CD set of the Tele-Summit for a small additional fee, if you order it at the time of registration.

Civic Duty and Faith to Action

We are today in the midst of some pretty incredible campaigns to see who will be the next president of the United States. I hope you attend a church where your leadership encourages your civic involvement. It is of utmost importance that Christians get involved with selecting the next president. Why?

So what are you doing? Are you running for office? Are you actively campaigning and supporting your candidate of choice? Are you voting? Or have you thrown up your hands in frustration because you don't care for any of the options you see?

The word of God tells us we need to be involved with supporting the candidate we deem best suited. We need to pray for our candidate and support him or her. We also need to pray daily for our country's leaders, that they gain wisdom and insight into the proper actions to take.

If you feel passionately about getting involved, do so, invite your friends and family - then encourage your pastor or other church leaders to encourage this involvement. 80% of our country's population claim to be Christian.

Christians can choose our next president... but we need to get involved and vote! While this is not a political blog, we are in a presidential election year and this blog is all about moving faith to action. This year, make a difference!

Not All Christian Coaches Are Created Equal

Just as in any profession, there are those with varying competencies, some very qualified, others with far less experience and ability. Further, since coaching is an unregulated profession, anyone can hang out their shingle that they have opened a coaching practice. Well-meaning novices though, are not the worst enemy of Christian Life Coaching.

In my opinion, the most lethal predators are those who claim to be Christian coaches, yet knowingly draw in new age and secular modalities and methods to manipulate their clients' progress. In effect they try to take over the role of our sovereign God, when they try to control results. Some of these who claim to be "Christian", spiritual or faith coaches incorporate metaphysics and assorted ancillary practices of mind-reading, meta language patterns, spiral coaching that identifies client thinking patterns with colors, ouija boards and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), when all they need to do is use prayer, while being open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We also need to beware of Coaches who promote themselves as Christian, yet hold alliances with secular or new age organizations. If you see the logos of these organizations promoted on a coach's website or marketing materials, you will know they honor man over God.

Authentic Spirit-led, Bible-based Christian life coaching stands on its own merit and is the MOST powerful life coaching available to mankind, now or ever. There is nothing man-divised that can add any more power or value to the coaching than what God has already given us, if ONLY we will learn the Word and follow its teaching. We know God's Word will NOT return void.

We need to be aware of these and not fall prey to unscrupulous and fraudulent teaching. The Bible is VERY clear about what we should and should not do as Christians. "Do not be carried about by different and varied and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and ennobled and strengthened by means of grace (God's favor and spiritual blessing) ..." Hebrews 13:9

"It (the grace of God) has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion)..." Titus 2:12

"Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God." Ephesians 6:14

"Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap." Galatians 6:7

What's It All About?

The Faith to Action Movement has begun and is picking up speed as it travels across our globe, igniting the hearts of believers with the passion of their faith. Believers realize the time is now to bring their faith to action and make a stand for NO MORE COMPROMISE with the world's value system.
The time is now to become excellent Christians, excellent in our work and private lives. Let no one of us cause any other person to stumble in their faith.
